# Emission Reduction

Emission rate of the tokens will start off at 0.7 BLACKSHEEP/block. The emission rate will be reduced by 5% for every 8 hours interval after farm starts until it reaches a minimum of 0.1 BLACKSHEEP/block.

This will help to create deflationary pressure as lesser tokens will be minted over time.
